What to Expect

If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel.  Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

1. Your first visit to our state-of-the-art office

Although we are a high technology office, you will be pleasantly surprised about how comfortable our office will make you feel. And that's pretty much our goal: to make you feel comfortable, but also give you the best advice we can, based on what we find using tools like our Surface EMG, spinal thermography, and full spine x-rays.

2. The questions every patient has on their second visit

Every patient regardless of the condition that brought them to our off has pretty much the same questions:

  1. "What's wrong with me?"
  2. "Can you help me, Dr. Shapiro?"
  3. "How long until I feel well and how long until the condition is fixed?"

  4. "What is my insurance coverage and any extra costs?"

I assure you I will answer all of these questions, and any more you might have. In fact, if yours is not a case I believe I can help with, I will tell you that too.

3. A Typical Office Visit

Most patients take advantage of other services while here. Whether is be a quick trip to the relaxation room, a massage from one of our licensed massage therapists, or a quick nutritional consultation. For the most part we respect your time here, so our goal is to get you in and out of the office in 10 minutes or less, unless you require more time due your condition.
